Roy Lee Gray, 82, of Taft, passed away on Tuesday (Jan. 14, 2020). Roy was born on April 9, 1937 in Lincoln County to the late Eugene Gray and Erlean Crabtree Doss. He worked for CFW, Amana Manufacturing and was the owner of Roy & Roger Western Apparel. He served in the United States Army and Air Force before retiring as master sergeant in 1974. He was a member of Kirkland Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Lane Gray; daughters, Lee Ann (Chad) Bradley of Taft and Cindy (Mark) Ballew of Fayetteville; son, Christopher Lynn (Robin) Bevels of Taft; grandchildren, Jamie and Andrew Fultz of Morristown, Corey and Whitney Ballew of Fayetteville, Wesley, Branden and Robert Bevels and Tony Lee Bradley; great-grandchildren, Charleigh Paige Ballew, Lincoln Fultz, and Harrison Bevels; and brother, Billy (Patsy) Gray. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 17, at Higgins Funeral Home with the Revs. Jeremy Hudgins and Billy Langford officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 5 until 8 p.m., on Thursday, Jan. 16, at Higgins Funeral Home. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
