Mildred Inez Eslick Warren, 94, of Shelbyville, passed from this life Sunday (Jan. 26, 2020) at home surrounded by her family. Mildred was born Dec. 21, 1925, in Fayetteville to the late John Matthew and Roxie Candace Cashion Eslick and is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Henry Sorrells Warren; sister, Bonnie Brown; and brother-in-law, Charles Brown. She was a homemaker, co-owner of Warren-Tel, Inc., and a faithful member of the First Baptist Church. She enjoyed caring for her family, yard work, especially mowing, cross stitching, blankets, quilts, rugs and other crafts. Survivors include her children, Joe David (Tanna) Warren of Shelbyville and Marcia (Jim) Warren-Lewis of Nashville; sisters, Candace Martin of Nashville and Frances Brown of Lewisburg; brother, James “Bud” Eslick of Belleville; grandchildren, Stephanie (Brett) Pielich, Kayla (Tanner) Hilliard and Lauren (Gage) Smith; great-grandchildren, Isabel & Ethan Pielich, Knox & Henry Smith and Hattie Jo Hilliard; and several nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville with Bro. Jeff Rasnick officiating. No public services will be held.
