Mark Fanning, 57, of Huntland, departed this life on Wednesday (March 13, 2019) at STRHS Winchester. Mr. Fanning was born in Huntland to Wanda Davis Fanning and the late Kenneth W. Fanning on Oct. 21, 1961.  Mr. Fanning was a member of the Donaldson Grove Baptist Church in Huntland.  He was disabled.  Before becoming disabled, he enjoyed his employment as a maintenance supervisor for many years.  He loved his family and helped to take care of several of his family members when they were ill.  He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.  He will be remembered as a loving and caring son, brother, father and grandfather and friend. Mr. Fanning is survived by his sons, Adam (Amber) Fanning of Lascassas, Chris (Alicia) Fanning of Belvidere, Matthew (Krista) Fanning of Huntland and Bryan Fanning of Huntland; daughter, Brenna Bell of Huntsville, Ala.; mother, Wanda Fanning of Elora; significant other, Naima Pratt; sisters, Gayle Zandi of Estill Springs, Patricia Clark of Belvidere, Diane Gardner of Gurley, Ala., Shelia Moon of Georgetown, Ind.; special aunt, Carolyn Fanning of Elora; seven grandchildren, Braydon, Owen, Jentri, Kamdyn, Huck, Emmett and Wyatt Fanning; several loving nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until 3 p.m. Saturday, March 16, in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services. Services will follow visitation with Bro. Ricky Moon officiating.  Interment will follow in the McClure Cemetery in Huntland. Online condolences may be sent at Grant Funeral Services in charge of arrangements.
