Justin Alexander Taylor, 13, of Kelso, passed away on Saturday (April 20, 2019) at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. Justin was born on Oct. 3, 2005 in Lincoln County to Richard Lee and Megan Holley Taylor. Playing football for Flintville and Fayetteville Junior Pro was his passion. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing video games and hoped to some day be a YouTube vlogger. He was very loving, caring and always giving to others. Justin was always giving to others, and in that spirit, his last contribution to this world was the gift of life being a Tennessee Organ Donor. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two younger brothers, Timothy and Christopher Taylor; grandparents, Audera and Lee Hardy, Roger and Susan Holley and Richard and Barbara Taylor; great-grandmother, Aldene Bramlett; uncles, Max, Mason and Marshall Holley and Randy Helton; aunt, Winter Schwartz; and great-uncle, Bobby Gene Taylor. Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Garlen and Bro. Roger Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, at Higgins Funeral Home. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
