Judy Faye Ivey Phillips Obituary

Judy Faye Ivey Phillips, 77, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday (June 25, 2020).

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Black officiating. Burial will follow in the Flintville Cemetery beside her husband of almost 57 years Billy Ray Phillips, who passed away in 2018.

Mrs. Phillips was born on September 6, 1942 in Flintville, TN to the late Ulas Leon and Georgia Shields Ivey. She worked at Serbin, the Fayetteville Medical Clinic, and in the office of Dr. Earl Jeffres before retiring. She was a member of the Washington Street Church of Christ.

She was blessed to have so many loving, caring friends who have been especially supportive of her over the past two years. She was a 1960 graduate of Flintville High School and treasured the time she spent with all of her classmates at her monthly class luncheons and yearly class reunions.

Survivors include her daughters, Tamberly (Laron) Pendergrass of Nashville, TN and Tracie (Mike) McEnery of Harvest, AL; step-granddaughters Nancy, Molly and Emily McEnery; step-great-granddaughter Naomi McEnery; brother Billy Floyd (Imogene) Shields of Flintville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be two hours prior to the service, from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m., at Higgins Funeral Home in Fayetteville, TN.
