Jack Davis Highfill Obituary

Jack Davis Highfill, 85, of Fayetteville, passed away on Friday (June 11, 2021) at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Funeral service for Mr. Highfill will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Scotty Travis officiating. Burial will follow in the Lincoln Cemetery. Jack was born on July 14, 1935 in Martin, TN to the late Dalton and Mavis Highfill. He worked as a Union Nuclear Electrician Nationwide. Mr. Highfill was a member of the Lincoln Baptist Church and was a Mason. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and most of all caring for his beloved wife. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Imogene Stewart Highfill; children, Ronnie Jack (Melissa) Highfill, Sr. of Fayetteville, Danny Joe Highfill, Sr. of Alabama, and Billy Wayne Highfill of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Ronnie Jack Highfill, Jr., Justin Lee (Ashley) Highfill, Lucas Edward Highfill, Lincoln Shelby Highfill, Danny Joe Highfill, Jr., and Billy Wayne Highfill, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Dallys Highfill, Autumn Rose Highfill, Abby Highfill, Gracie Highfill, Emily Highfill, Devon Highfill, Bristol Highfill, and Even Highfill; great-great-grandson, Caiden Thomas Reed; and three sisters, Ann, Faye, and Verne. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by two brothers, Don and Dorris.

Visitation with the family will be from 8:30 until 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday at Higgins Funeral Home. Masonic Rites will take place at 10:15 a.m. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Jack Davis Highfill.
