Erline England Patrick, 99, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday (November 24, 2020) at her home. Mrs. Erline was born August 30, 1921 to the late William Edward and Sally Gamble England. Mrs. Erline was retired teacher of 37 years, and is known for her service to the community, having served as a Fayetteville alderman, member of City School Board and Fayetteville Board of Public Utilities. She is also known for her service to the local library, Chamber of Commerce and the Delta Kappa Gamma and Alpha Kappa Club. Mrs Erline loved her church family and was a faithful member of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son Gary (Pat) Patrick of Chattanooga, TN grandchildren Sally (Scott) Fisher and Garrett (Shawna) Patrick and great grandchildren Maverick and Westley Fisher. And her wonderful caregivers Ginger Spurlock and April Franklin, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs Patrick was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold Patrick and son Don Patrick.
A private family burial was held at Riverview Memorial Garden. A Memorial service for Mrs Patrick will be planned for a later date.
