Donald Ray Pamplin, 79, of Flintville, passed away on Saturday (June 15, 2019). Donald was born on Aug. 2, 1939 in Lincoln County to the late Ernest “Dink” and Velaria Estelle Price Pamplin.  He worked as a meat cutter for A&P Grocery, Piggly Wiggly and Lucky's.  Don enjoyed gardening, working on his farm, and was a member of the Liberty Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Janice Kay Moore Pamplin; sons, Kenneth Ray Pamplin and wife, Jacki, of Fayetteville and Troy Keith Pamplin and wife, Michelle, of Kelso; daughter-in-law, Glenda Pamplin of Fayetteville; grandchildren, David Keith Pamplin, Dawson Ray Pamplin, Alicia Nicole Gothard and Amanda Noles (Alex) McAnally; and great-grandchildren, Hayden, Maddie and Landry McAnally.  In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffrey “Jeff” Alan Pamplin in 2017 and Derrick Todd Pamplin in 1995, and a sister, Glennis Koonce. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Rice and Bro. Roy Markham officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lincoln Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5 until 8 p.m. on Monday, June 17, at Higgins Funeral Home.  Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
