Deborah Jean Koziol, 54, of Flintville, passed away on Sunday (November 15, 2020) at Alabama North Specialty Hospital in Athens, AL.
Debbie was born on June 7, 1966 in Chicago, IL to Mary Ruth Clevenger Pfeifer and the late Michael David Koziol. She loved old country music and doing crossword puzzles. Miss. Koziol never met a stranger, was friendly and outgoing, and always had a smile. Debbie was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her sister, Sandra Brummitt of Flintville; step-sister, Laura Burback and husband Tony of Lake in the Hills, IL; aunts, Pam Rioux of Flintville, and Theresa Mitchell of AZ; and uncle, Robert Smith and wife Janine of AZ; and several cousins. In addition to her father, Debbie was preceded in death by her step-father, Roger Leo Pfeifer; and grandparents, Howard and Lillie Mae Clevenger, and Clarence and Patricia Koziol.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Flintville Cemetery with Bro. Tommy Graham officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Higgins Funeral Home.
