David Latimer Harrison, 78, of Gallatin, passed away on Monday (Jan. 13, 2020) at Elk River Health and Rehabilitation of Fayetteville. David was born on Jan. 13, 1942 in Union City to the late Eugene Hudson and Mildred Virginia Smith Harrison. He worked as a residential home builder and was a member of Fayetteville First Baptist Church. Survivors include his sons, Mark David (Karen) Harrison and Chad Delap (Rebecca Shaw) Harrison; grandchildren, TJ Glover, Haley Harrison, Cainan Harrison, Caiah Collier, Chris Harrison and Zoe Harrison; and siblings, Gene Smith Harrison, Jane Harrison Pennington and Betty Virginia Harrison. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Robert Harrison. A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m., on Saturday, Jan. 25, at Fayetteville First Baptist Church. A reception will be held immediately following the service next door at the First United Methodist Church fellowship hall.
