Blake Anthony Taylor of Fayetteville passed this life on Saturday (March 21, 2020) at Huntsville Hospital at the age of 33. Blake, a native of Baton Rouge, La., was the son of Julie Stidfole Brown and Daniel Taylor. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fayetteville and loved working with the youth and children’s ministries. Blake loved sports and enjoyed playing wheelchair basketball and sled hockey. He played on the Lakeshore Rehabilitation Wheelchair Basketball team which won a national championship. He was an avid LSU football fan. Blake never complained and touched so many people during his life. Blake was preceded in death by brother, Hagen Bosch. In addition to his parents, Julie Brown (Mark) of Fayetteville and Daniel Taylor (Terri) of Marietta, Ga., he is survived by grandparents, Dorothy Taylor of Baton Rouge, La., Harold (Nancy) Taylor of Cookeville and Robert and Sherry Stidfole of Fayetteville; brothers, Nathaniel Taylor of Marietta, Ga, Alexander Brown (Natasha) of Dallas, Texas, and Elliott Brown of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Elizabeth Taylor of Palo Alto, Calif., and Sophie Taylor of Marietta, Ga.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later time. Lynchburg Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
