Ann Graham Cashion

Ann Graham Cashion, 89, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Park City Baptist Church with Bro. Don Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, December 3, at Higgins Funeral Home.

Ann was born May 28, 1932, in Lincoln County, TN and was one of eleven children born to the late T.H. and Mattie Bell Colbert Graham, Sr. She attended Middle Tennessee State University and went on to graduate as a registered nurse from the nursing program at St Thomas Hospital in the 1950’s. Ann had a rewarding career as a public health nurse at the Lincoln County Health Department for 27 years. She and her husband Joe volunteered for several years at Patrick Rehab and Wellness Center as well. Ann was a devoted member of Parks City Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and Girls in Action leader on Wednesday nights for many, many years.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Cashion with whom she just celebrated 67 years of marriage on November 7; three sons, Chris (Jyl) Cashion of Houston, Texas, Greg (Beth) Cashion of Nashville, and Joel (Teresa) Cashion of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Amie (Johnny) Schexnayder, Ashlie (Andrew) Pereiras, Christina Cashion, Molly Cashion, Lee Cashion, Kristin (Jay) Colbert, Drew Cashion, and Austin Cashion; great-grandchildren, Madison Brungardt, Dexter Schexnayder, Catherine Pereiras, Mark Pereiras, William Pereiras, Kilar Pace, Charlie Colbert, and Gray Colbert; sister, Sarah Frances “Jane” Fuller of Chattanooga; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Inez Hatcher, Claude Graham, T.H. Graham, Jr., Minerva Gual, Tharon Bell, Frank Graham, Phillip Graham, Rufus Graham, and Betty Graham.
