Shirley Ann Tibbs Obituary

Shirley Ann Tibbs, 82, of Fayetteville, passed away on Monday, (January 11, 2021) at her residence. She was born on April 11, 1938 in Limestone County, AL. She was an Avon salesperson and a member of West End Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Farrar, father, Fletcher Gilbert and son, David Bruce Tibbs. Ms. Tibbs is survived by her sons, Philip Elden (Sandra Mary) Tibbs of Fayetteville and Paul (Melissa) Tibbs of Manchester and her granddaughter, Katie Anne Tibbs of Fayetteville. Funeral service was held on Thursday, January 14, 2021 in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Shirley Ann Tibbs.
