Forecast largely remains unchanged, but there is slightly higher confidence in a second round of storms this afternoon. The morning round of storms will be moving out by midday. It’s impact on the storm environment for this afternoon is still unclear. However, another round of strong to severe storms is possible from midafternoon through this evening.

Timing and Duration: – Afternoon storms round of storms 2– 8 p.m.

Potential Impacts: – Large hail, damaging winds, and possibly a tornado or two possible. – Heavy rainfall will introduce a flash flooding threat, especially with multiple periods of thunderstorms.
