Posey receives FCE scholarship

Sophia Posey, member of the Dellrose Hotrock FCE received the club’s $200 scholarship. Sophia is the daughter of fellow Dellrose Hotrock member Jessica and husband Brad Posey.

Sophia is a 2020 graduate of the Lincoln County High School where she ranked 26 in her graduating class, which makes her one of the top 10 percent. Sophia is a member of the BETA Club, FBLA, Student Council, Fayetteville Main Street Student Board, Pumpkinheads student cheering section, and First Presbyterian Church Youth.

Being a member of the award winning FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) team, Sophia was hired by the Bank of Lincoln County, Park City branch.

This fall, Sophia will be attending UAH on a full academic scholarship. She plans to major in business with an additional pre-law certification. Along with winning the Dellrose Hotrock Scholarship, Sophia has also been awarded one of the Lincoln County FCE $500 Scholarships.

Lisa Ritter of the Dellrose Hotrock FCE said the club “is extremely proud of one of our youngest members and we look foward to seeing the wonderful things she will accomplish in the future.”
