Two Lincoln County residents were indicted by the grand jury in November on charges involving minors.
Nathan Wesley Fulton, 30, of 299 Old Huntsville Hwy., was charged with two counts of aggravated statutory rape.
According to Investigator Tammy MacDonald, of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department, there was one victim.
“He’s at least 10 years older than the victim,” MacDonald said.
Aggravated statutory rape involves a perpetrator more than 10 years older than the minor-aged victim, according to Tennessee law.
Fulton was released from the Lincoln County Jail on $15,000 bond. His next court date was scheduled for Dec. 3.
Following an extensive investigation, Rebecca Ann Hopkins, 25, of 616 Howell Hill Road, was indicted by the grand jury on the same date on eight counts of solicitation of a minor with sexual materials by electronic means.
She was held at the Lincoln County Jail on $50,000 bond. She was also scheduled to appear in circuit court on Dec. 3.
