Four brand new vehicles were stolen from two Huntsville Highway car dealerships over the weekend.
According to a Fayetteville Police Department report, a Chevrolet Corvette, Chevrolet Camaro, a Dodge Durango and a Jeep Trackhawk were taken.
All four of the vehicles were entered into NCIC (National Crime Information Center) once the thefts were discovered.
Patrolman John Counts’ report noted that the stolen red Camaro was recovered Saturday morning around 7:36 a.m. after a pursuit with Birmingham police.
In addition to the theft of the vehicles, one dealership reported that papers and keys were rifled through in the office, and three dealership tags were stolen, according to a report by Patrolman Kendrick Williams.
