A lucky Powerball player in Lincoln County won $50,000 Saturday, April 11, by matching four of the five white numbers drawn plus the red Powerball.

The winning ticket was purchased at TNT Beer & Tobacco in Ardmore.

Saturday’s winner was the second $50,000 Powerball winner in Tennessee last week.

No additional information is available until the prize is claimed, state lottery officials said. The Tennessee Education Lottery (TEL) last week also held its latest “Play It Again!” drawing, awarding more than $4.6 million in prizes.

Play It Again! is a program in which non-winning instant tickets are eligible for cash prizes won through a series of second-chance drawings.
