Five are cuffed

Five individuals face serious charges following two separate drug busts in Lincoln County last week.

A West Lincoln Road woman was arrested during an ongoing investigation of the distribution of heroin and methamphetamine and the execution of a search warrant.

“We executed a search warrant,” said Investigator Mike Pitts. “The search was Tuesday night. We found heroin and meth. There were three small children in the residence, and the children were removed.”

Amy Michelle Whirton, age 39, of 91 W. Lincoln Road, was charged with six counts of the sale of a schedule VI drug, simple possession, two counts of meth manufacturing delivery, sale and possession with intent, possession of drug paraphernalia, child abuse and neglect and two counts of sale of a schedule VI drug. She was held on $188,000 bond. Deputy David Houk was the arresting officer.

In a separate incident, following a lengthy investigation and execution of a search warrant Friday afternoon, four people were arrested at a Forest Ridge residence. “During the search, we found meth, heroin and hydrocodone pills,” said Pitts. “We expect more arrests. Also at the house there was a convicted felon with a stolen firearm.”

Felicia Nicole Jones, age 30, of 13 Forest Ridge Lane, was charged with sale of schedule II meth, two counts of possession of schedule II meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession of schedule II for resale, possession of schedule II, possession of schedule I heroin for resale and possession of schedule I heroin. She was held on $119,000 bond. Pitts made the arrest.

Robert Jones, age 30, also of 13 Forest Ridge Lane, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of schedule I heroin for resale, possession of schedule II meth for resale, two counts of possession of schedule II meth, possession of schedule II, possession of schedule II for resale, possession of drug paraphernalia and sale of schedule II meth. He was held on $186,000 bond. Pitts was the arresting officer.

Lucy Krasinski, age 29, of 647 Basham Road, Morrison, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule II meth. She was held on $11,000 bond. Sgt. Tull Malone was the arresting officer.

Isaiah Vaughn, 20, of 2474 Old Tullahoma Hwy., Manchester, was charged with possession of schedule II meth, possession of schedule II meth for resale, possession of firearm during dangerous felony, possession of stolen property and possession of firearm as a convicted felon. He was held on $55,800 bond. Malone made the arrest.
