Dellrose Station 416 of the Lincoln County Volunteer Fire Department is selling chicken stew for pick-up on Saturday, Jan. 19.
The cost will be $25 for a gallon and $15 for a half gallon. The volunteers are asking you to bring a glass jug, if possible, when picking up, as plastic jugs don’t accommodate the usually hot stew very well.
Pre-orders can be called in to Capt. Bobby Mitchell at 931-732-4446 or the EMA/Fire office at 931-438-1575. Orders are being accepted until Jan. 17.
The stew will be ready for pick-up starting at 10 a.m. on the day of Jan. 19, and all orders should be picked up by 1 p.m.
From Fayetteville, travel west on Highway 64 to Old Elkton Pike (Hwy. 273) where you’ll turn left and go approximately 17 miles. When you cross the railroad tracks, the fire station will be on the left. Members of the Dellrose station appreciate your support.
