Veteran banker Jeremy Meeks has joined FirstBank as a relationship manager in Fayetteville-Lincoln County.
In his new position, Meeks will be responsible for working with existing business customers and helping develop new relationships in the local business community.
Meeks, who has been working in the industry for over two decades, has a strong background in consumer and commercial banking. Prior to joining FirstBank, Meeks was a branch manager for a large regional bank, where he helped establish a new business banking advocate program, improved business banking loan and equipment finance production, and mentored branch staff members.
“Jeremy is a great addition to our team, and we are looking forward to the expertise he will bring our customers,” said Justin Harwell, Fayetteville market president. “He has a strong track record of success, and he will continue to strengthen our relationships with businesses in Fayetteville and the surrounding community.”
Meeks graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University with a degree in business administration and an emphasis in economics and finance.
“I know from my years of experience in banking that FirstBank has a well-earned reputation for being an outstanding organization,” Meeks said. “I am thrilled to join the FirstBank family and contribute to our continued growth.”
In his spare time, Meeks enjoys spending time with his wife, Kimberly, and watching his two children participate in sports and other activities.
