Dog Park

Representatives of the Boyd Foundation will be in town tomorrow (Thursday, Oct. 3) to present a $25,000 Dog Park grant check to the City of Fayetteville.

The presentation will take place at 12:15 p.m. at the Don Davidson Park at 1701 Wilson Pkwy., and the public is welcome to attend and bring their dogs.

Established in early 2016, thanks to a similar grant, the Dog Park is among Fayetteville’s newest additions to the Parks and Recreation Department. Located behind the Don Davidson Complex, the park provides a fenced area for dogs to run freely, and offers water fountains, leash trees, and dog waste disposal. The park also provides a separate fenced area for dogs that are anxious or not sociable with others.
