Boonshill Cemetery Decoration Day will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10. St. Paul AME Church will host Women’s Day on Sunday, Aug. 11. The theme is “Blessed is She” (Luke 1:45). Sunday school begins at 9:45 a.m. Sister Tanja Holsey of St. Paul AME Church will be the worship leader, and the speaker will be Prophet Karen Chatman of Fayetteville’s Hope Assembly. Elder Sernobia McGee of Mt. Zion MB Church, Tullahoma, will be the worship leader at the 2:30 p.m. service and the featured speaker will be Minister Rolanda Holman of Believers Faith Fellowship, Murfreesboro, author of “Living the Good Life on Purpose”. Dinner will be served a 1 p.m. Men are asked to wear black and white, and women black with white pearls.
Champ Community Cemetery’s annual decoration and business meeting will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11. The meeting will be held at Champ Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Champ Cumberland Presbyterian Church will have a potluck lunch after the morning church service, and everyone is welcome to attend.
St. Anthony Catholic Church, located at 1900 Huntsville Highway, will be hosting an information session on Sunday, Aug. 11, at 4 p.m., for those interested in learning about the true Catholic Church beliefs and teachings or who are interested in the process of becoming a member of the Catholic Church. Brown Temple Cemetery has launched its 2019 fund drive for the maintenance and upkeep of the cemetery, and is asking you to join in this endeavor. Annual dues are $50 per year.
