St. Paul A.M.E. Church is hosting a New Year’s Eve Praise and Worship Service, “The Power of Preaching Teams”, on Dec. 31 beginning at 3 p.m. The theme is “He Makes All Things New,” based on 2 Cor. 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away: behold, all things are become new.” Tag-team preachers for the event include The Rev. Lance Shelton, pastor of Brown’s Temple AME Church; The Rev. Ruby Mason-Crum, pastor of Mary’s Chapel AME Church; The Rev. Vanessa Holmon, pastor of St. John Mulberry & Suggs Chapel AME Churches; and The Rev. Dr. Charles Holsey, pastor of St. Paul AME Church. Everyone is invited to fellowship with the church as they bring in the New Year. The church is located at 521 College St. West.
