West End Cumberland Presbyterian Church of America will be hosting its Annual Men’s Singing for Christ Night on Saturday, Dec. 15, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Several male singing groups will be singing throughout the evening. A Christmas Cantata will be presented on Sunday, Dec. 23, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Fayetteville, 200 N. Elk Ave. “And Glory Shone Around: A Christmas Cantata Celebrating Love’s Perfect Light”, by Lloyd Larson and Douglas E. Wagner, is directed by Barry Petty, music director, with Vickie Halcomb, organist, and guest orchestra. A nursery will be provided for children at both services. Christmas Eve services will be held on Monday, Dec. 24, at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. This will be a candlelight communion service, and child care will be provided for both services.
