McBurg United Methodist Church will hold a rummage sale on Saturday, June 15 from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. The church is located at 91 McBurg Road. Donations are welcome and all sale profits go to the church.
Mary’s Chapel AME Church’s Annual ‘Day Out with the Saints’ will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, at Cates Corner Event and Retreat Center, 37 Deer Trace Road, Fayetteville. Walk By Faith, a ministry of Huntland Pentecostal Church, announces their goal to make sure every child has well-fitting shoes. They are providing assistance for families in need of shoes for children, ages one to 18, at no charge, especially for back to school. HPC will furnish one pair of shoes per child. Shoe sizing will be on June 22 at 1 p.m. at HPC Family Life Center, 195 Lee Lane, Huntland. Snacks and games will be available for those who attend.
