Our Place Too Bakery & Café hosts ribbon-cutting ceremony

A ribbon-cutting celebrating the recent opening of Our Place Too Bakery & Café was held last Friday. Business owner Beth Wells (at right) cut the ribbon as Sharon Pope, who works at the bakery, held the ribbon while Carson Blackwood and Madelyn Goedde looked on. Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Carolyn Denton, far left, and Chamber Administrative Assistant Sara Jo Pierce helped organize the event. Chamber Board members, representatives from the banks, including Bank of Lincoln County, Regions, First National and Redstone Credit, as well as others within the community attended the ribbon cutting.


As soon as you walk into the door at Our Place Too Bakery & Café you will immediately be accosted by that irresistible aroma of freshly baked muffins, cakes, pies, cinnamon rolls, croissants, cookies and other tempting treats coming from the oven. You are then drawn to the next room where the day’s items are displayed. It’s decision time! What will you choose?

Our Place Too Bakery & Café, located at 2705 Huntsville, Hwy. in the Park City area, held its ribbon-cutting on Friday with Chamber of Commercial officials, representatives from the Bank of Lincoln County, Regions Bank, First National Bank, Redstone Credit and others within the community attending and enjoying the delicious treats provided.

Beth Wells, owner, cut the ribbon with Sharon Pope assisting, while staff Carson Blackwood and Madelyn Goedde watched and later waited on customers waiting to make their purchase.

In addition to bakery items, Our Place Too offers personalized decorated cakes in a variety sizes and large cookies, along with regular or dark roast coffee beans from Raphael’s Roastery, a variety of Tazo teas, Yerba Mate, juices, Iced Tea and sparkling water. Gluten-free and sugar-free options are available.

You can also have a Tea Party for two or four in one of the separate rooms. The Basic Party includes the use of a tea room for up to two hour. The menu is a pot of tea, one plate of sandwiches and a plate of sweets. Sandwich choices are Chicken salad on croissant, pimento cheese, cucumber ranch, ham and Swiss cheese and turkey and Swiss. Sweet choices include brownie, chess square, chocolate oatmeal cookie, truffles and cinnamon pastry. All plates must to be ordered in advance. Reservations are required.
