Lincoln Health System welcomes new surgeon

David B. Crump, MD, FACS, has recently joined the medical staff at Lincoln Health System as a full-time general surgeon.

Lincoln Health System is pleased to announce David B. Crump, MD, FACS, has joined the medical staff as a full-time general surgeon.

Crump is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He and his family have spent the past 18 years in Lucedale, Ms., but for a brief time in the late 1990’s, Crump practiced medicine here in Fayetteville.

Crump has more than 20 years of experience as a general surgeon and provides a wide range of surgical services, including, but not limited to, endoscopy and colonoscopy, gallbladder, appendix, hernia, thyroid, breast, hemorrhoid, and bowel surgeries, and vasectomies and hysterectomies.

 “The addition of Dr. Crump to our medical staff expands the surgical expertise available to our community and allows us to care for more of our Lincoln County residents here at Lincoln Medical Center,” said Candie Starr, Lincoln Health System’s chief executive officer. “Dr. Crump is an accomplished and experienced general surgeon, and he will provide essential services for our health system and quality care to our community.”
