A large group gathered for Encore Rehabilitation’s official grand opening and ribbon cutting held in conjunction with the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau Wednesday morning.
Located at 1816 Huntsville Highway, Encore Rehabilitation, Inc., provides multiple services, including contract rehabilitation management for hospitals, skilled care centers, home health agencies as well as industry and are the official sports medicine provider for Fayetteville High School and Lincoln County High School.
They offer rehabilitation, wellness, sports medicine, pain management and prevention programs that help patients resume and maintain independent, healthy lifestyles and also offer personal trainers.
“We are very diversified,” said Barri Lenox, regional vice president over North Alabama and Tennessee locations.
Sarah Suddarth, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT, is Fayetteville’s clinic director and is one of four employees at the Fayetteville location.
Encore’s rehab staff includes physical therapists and physical therapist assistants, occupational therapists and occupational therapist assistants, speech-language pathologists and athletic trainers.
A privately-owned corporation, the Encore partnership was founded in 1981 by physical therapists Paul Henderson of Falkville, Ala., and Paige Plash of Mobile, Ala. In addition to hundreds of rehabilitation locations across Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee, they also own many fitness centers.
