The Fayetteville-Library County Public Library’s summer reading program offers a “Universe of Stories” for children this year.

A kickoff to the summer reading and STEM program, “3-2-1 Blast Off”, is set for Saturday, June 15, at 10 a.m. at the public library. Children and parents are invited to come by the library to learn more about the fun activities slated for the summer.

Registration week is June 17-22. Stop by the library to register, or visit the website at www.flclibrary.com.

Weekly explorations are set for June 25 through July 12 with a “Moon Landing Grand Finale” set for July 13, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.
