The #OneLC Robotics BEST Team returned home with several awards following competition at Calhoun Community College on Oct. 12. In all, the team captured nine awards.

The #OneLCRobotics BEST Robotics Team #0806 competed in the Tennessee Valley BEST Competition at Calhoun Community College Oct. 12, returning home with several awards.

The team captured the following awards at the competition: Robotics Finalist, BEST Award Finalist, Second Place Website Design, Second Place Best Mascot, Third Place Most Photogenic Mascot, Third Place Spirit and Sportsmanship, Third Place Team Exhibit Design & Construction, and Third Place Teamwear Design.

“The Lincoln County Robotics program would like to thank all of our sponsors and mentors for your continued support of our students,” said Marty LeBlanc, coach of the team.

Sponsored by Toyota, Polaris, TVA, TriVector Services Inc., and Friends of BEST Alabama, the competition – Tennessee Valley Bosting Engineering, Science, and Technology (BEST) – was held over three days on Calhoun’s campus.
