Caleb Gulley earned his doctor of nursing practice (DNP) degree with an emphasis in mental health during the College of Nursing spring graduation from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) in Memphis.
Candidates received the presentation of hoods from Susan Jacob, Ph.D., R.N., and diplomas were conferred by Steve J. Schwab, M.D., UTHSC chancellor, during the afternoon graduation ceremony held at The Cannon Center for the Performing Arts in Memphis. The Nursing Pinning Ceremony was held the previous day at The Memphis Botanical Gardens.
Since graduation, Caleb has taken and passed the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Exam, which certifies him as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner.
Caleb is a 2007 Lincoln County High School graduate, and he earned bachelor of science in nursing and master of science nursing degrees from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro.
He has worked at the Alvin C. York V.A. Medical Center in Murfreesboro for the past eight years.
Caleb is the son of Michael and Donna Gulley and the grandson of Jimmy and Eveline Swinford, all of Fayetteville, and the late Joe and Louella Gulley.
He and his wife, Rachel, reside in Lebanon.
