Dr. David Golden, principal of Flintville School, has been asked to serve on the board of the Tennessee Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development (TASCD).
Golden has been an active member and engaged in their professional development for several years. Dr. Golden will serve on the TASCD and represent the Middle Tennessee Region.
TASCD is a statewide professional organization whose mission is to provide an open forum for the analysis of educational issues. Golden stated, “he looks forward to serving on the board and working with local and state-wide administrators to improve student learning and teacher effectiveness”.
Dr. John Fanning, Assistant Director of Schools stated “the school district is excited about Dr. Golden’s appointment to the TASCD board and is proud that the district’s principals are engaged and active in professional organizations within our state”.
