Central High School’s Class of 1969 is making plans for its 50th reunion on the weekend of Sept. 13-14.
The reunion will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 6 p.m. at the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Museum, located at 521 South Main Avenue. A class photo will be taken at 6:40 p.m. Classmates are invited to submit photos to be included in a slideshow by sending them to 1969CentralHS@gmail.com. Along with the slideshow, classmates will have an opportunity to create new small group photo memories in the “photo corner” at the museum.
The evening will feature dinner catered by Kahuna’s.
There will also be a memorial for classmates who have passed away.
Saturday night’s reunion is not the only opportunity to catch up with classmates. There are plenty of opportunities for reuniting with smaller groups, including golfing at Pebble Creek, attending the harness races or truck and tractor pull at the Lincoln County Fair or cheering on the Falcons at the football game against Spring Hill. Classmates can also visit the museum or shop on the square.
There will also be a “meet and greet” with a boxed lunch on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the museum.
A special 50-year celebration keepsake is offered for the first 100 classmates registering.
