South Central Human Resource Agency has announced that U.S. Department of Agriculture commodities will be distributed from 9 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds, located at 1003 Hedgemont Ave.
The distribution will be held on a first-come, first-serve basis, officials said. Eligibility will be based on total household income, per income guidelines. Anyone receiving aid from one of the following programs is eligible for USDA commodities: SNAP, Families First, SSI, LIHEAP, or proof of residency in public housing.
In accordance with federal law and USDA policy, discrimination is prohibited on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.
