‘Main Street Masquerade’ planned for Jan. 18 downtown

Fayetteville Main Street organization is debuting new fundraiser event in 2020.

Main Street Masquerade is a celebration of all things representing downtown Fayetteville – past, present, and future. The event is a first of its kind for the FMS organization and will be held in the Magnolia Mall building, a historic downtown Fayetteville landmark at the corner of Market and Main.

Organizers invite the public to attend the fundraising event on Saturday, Jan. 18, to not only learn more about the Main Street organization but also enjoy a night of festivities. The “Andrews Brother Dueling Pianos” will serve as the entertainment for the evening, and guests are encouraged to wear masquerade masks to fit the theme. Cocktail attire is suggested but not required. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Tickets are available through an Eventbrite link online on the FMS website at www.fayettevillemainstreet.com and at the Fayetteville Main Street Office. Tickets are $50 per person, and the price includes two adult beverages as well as heavy hors d’oeuvres. For anyone visiting from out of town, tickets can be purchased online or by phone and held at “will call.” The FMS organization is a 501c3 nonprofit, and all donations are tax deductible.
