Arts Center

The Fayetteville-Lincoln County Arts Center is located in a historic building at 303 Main Avenue South.

Love to shop local? Want to support the arts? Folks who want to do both can take advantage of bargains through a new “Loyalty Card” rolled out this month by the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Arts Center.

The black and white card and key tag provide discounts and special offers from 18 local merchants and can be used multiple times. Proceeds from sale of the cards, which are good for one year, will be used to support the center’s programs and help pay for renovations at its 303 Main Avenue South historic building.

The Center, in a former church off the Fayetteville square, hosts or sponsors arts endeavors throughout the year, including the Southern Weekend of Art scheduled for Halloween weekend at Stone Bridge Park, art camps and classes, and seasonal open mic nights for area musicians.

Participating merchants in the loyalty program are Back to Your Roots Salon, Bonin Bazaar, Buckley Farms, Cornbread’s Kitchen, Flintville Mini Mart and Café, The Flower House, Holistic Therapy Services, Java Road Espresso Bar and Café, The Local Café, On the Corner Nutrition and Energy, Our Place Diner, Our Place Too Bakery and Café, Pilaroc Farms, Plant City – Wilson’s Lawn and Landscaping, Rafael’s Italian Restaurant, Sabghi Jewelers, Sweet T’s Sip and Shop, and Young Vintage and Antiques.

“As a non-profit in the wake of the pandemic, we’ve had to get creative about raising funds. This Loyalty Card campaign was born as a way for us to recoup monies lost while also fulfilling a vision we have for our community,” said Jen King-Pierce, president and treasurer of the Arts Center.

Individual cards are $50 each. A Family Membership ($65) entitles each member of the household to their own key tag.

Arts Center officials said the cards make great gifts.
