Despite these challenging times, our community yearns for something familiar, and Girl Scout Cookie sales are just the trick. The Lincoln County Girl Scouts are continuing the cookie booth sales traditions this February- with just a few adjustments. Every weekend in February, the Girl Scouts of Lincoln County, Service Unit 161, will carry on the tradition of being available at local restaurants and stores in the area.

“We want to make sure that our Girl Scouts continue to learn life-long skills such as goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics. We believe it is important for the girls to continue to engage in their community while also maintaining safe sales practices,” said Danielle Jean, Service Unit Cookie Coordinator for Lincoln County.

The Girl Scouts will also be maintaining social distancing with customers where appropriate, utilizing masks, and maintaining proper hand washing, all while ensuring that girl entrepreneurship carries on.

If you would like to know where the sales will be happening, just download the free Cookie Finder app on your device. The Girl Scout Cookie Finder makes it easy to see when cookie season sales are in your area. Just punch in your zip code and choose from a list of locations near you.

“We would like to thank the community for their continued support, as well as the businesses who have allowed us to utilize their establishments,” said Jean, adding, “We look forward to continue serving our Lincoln County community.”
