The Lincoln County FCE would like to announce the applications for this year’s three $500 scholarships for graduating seniors are now available in the guidance offices of all high schools in Lincoln County.
If the student has been home schooled, they can receive an application from the UT Extension Office. Applicants must be Lincoln County residents, and the completed applications need to be returned no later than Friday, April 19.
The Dellrose-Hotrock FCE is offering its own scholarship to a graduating senior again this year. It’s a $250 award given to a student who attended either Unity or Blanche schools. If the student was home-schooled, they must at least live in an area zoned for attendance to either school. Applications are available in all high school guidance offices in Lincoln County or the UT Extension Office. Completed applications must be returned by Tuesday, April 30.
In addition to the scholarships for graduating seniors, the Lincoln County FCE is also making financial assistance available to younger students wishing to attend this summer’s 4-H camp. Applications for financial aid are available at the UT Extension Office and must be completed and returned by Friday, May 17. Last year the FCE was able to award five fully funded scholarships for students to attend camp.
