April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month

Supporters of Junior’s House Child Advocacy Center, Inc., gather around in celebration of Allin’s third birthday. Allin, a therapy dog, comforts traumatized and abused children and provides joy and companionship to the Junior’s House staff. April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, and the pinwheels displayed symbolize great childhoods that all children deserve to have. Pictured here are (front, from left) Crystal Guess, Junior’s House director; Allin; Michael Guess; Bonnie Sullivan; Walt Bartlett; Catherine Bartlett; Brandee Lancaster; (second row) Jason Terhune; Deb Riley; Felicia Bivens; Amy Nix, family advocate; Lincoln County Mayor Bill Newman; and Bruce McVey.
