WoW Bible study set this month

Women of the Way

Some of the women involved in the planning and presentation of the "Women of the Way" Bible Study Series include Vanessa Holmon, Ann Hatcher, Jessi Higginbotham, Amy Satterfield and Debbie McAlister. Sessions are planned for April 8-29.

Women are invited to the second annual Women of the Way Bible Study to be held April 8-29.

 WoW is an interdenominational women’s gathering to encourage and inspire women to be passionate, devoted followers of Christ.

Each session begins with refreshments at 5:30 p.m., registration from 5:30-6 p.m. and the Bible study begins at 6 p.m. Donations to community ministries will be gratefully accepted for each community ministry listed below.

On April 8, Amy Satterfield will lead the study in Titus 2, hosted by First United Methodist Church of Fayetteville, located at 200 Elk Avenue North. Monetary donations will be accepted for the community ministry, Junior’s House Child Advocacy Center.

Debbie McAlister will lead the study on Rachel and Leah on April 15. Fayetteville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, located at 1720 Huntsville Highway, will host the study.  The community ministry supported is Wings of Love with donations of diapers and pull-ups, size large.

 Gay Dempsey will lead the study on Mary and Elizabeth on April 22. Hope Assembly of God Church, located at 28 Deer Trace Road, is hosting the study. The community ministry supported is Hands of Mercy, with donations of chicken soup and saltine crackers.

Vanessa Holman will lead the study on Ruth and Naomi on April 29. The study will be held at First Baptist Church of Fayetteville, located at 210 Elk Avenue North. The community ministry is Good Samaritan, and donations of canned foods are requested.
