Posted on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 12:19 pm

Unity School’s PTF will host “Spring Fling” on Friday, May 10, at the school.

Organizers have a full slate of activities for the whole family.

A chicken dinner will be served from 5 until 6:30 p.m. Dinner tickets will be sold ahead of time at Crossroads Market in Delina, Petersburg’s Town Hall and at the Bank of Lincoln County’s Main Branch. All dinner tickets need to be purchased before May 1 to allow time for preparation. Each plate will include a quarter chicken, slaw, beans, bread, drink and a dessert. Adult plates are $7 and child plates are $5.

From 5 until 6:45 p.m., there will be games and activities for children with the purchase of tickets. Activities include a car bash, cornhole, cosmic bowling, bouncy house, 3-point shot contest and much more.

A live auction will get underway at 7 p.m. Auction items include a Bear Bryant framed print, tickets to some local attractions in our great state of Tennessee and much more.

The night will end with the crowning of the king and queen.

Everyone is invited to join in the fun.
