Zollicoffer-Fulton Chapter 16 of the United Daughters of the Confederacy presented certificates of membership to five new members. Pictured (from left) are Debbie Yorba, president; Kim Williams, who received her certificate earlier last year; Carolyn Moffett, Mary Alice Brooks, Judy Cunningham and Marcia Towry, who received their certificates during the January meeting. The interests of the Chapter are varied. The group has visited historic sites, rededicated the Confederate Monument on the courthouse lawn, placed flags on the graves of Confederate soldiers and plan to locate and mark graves of other Confederate soldiers. A dedication of the Civil War Trails sign will be Saturday, April 26. To be a member, you must be 16 years or older and have an ancestor who served in the War Between the States.
