The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) will offer a free hunter education classroom course at Fayetteville High School on Aug. 25, 26 and 27.

This course is offered free of charge to anyone interested regardless of age; however, you must be nine years of age or older in order to become a certified hunter education graduate. Anyone born on or after Jan. 1, 1969 wishing to hunt in the state of Tennessee must have completed and passed the hunters education class.
Classes will be held as follows: Friday, Aug. 25, from 5 until 9 p.m., classroom instruction; Saturday, Aug. 26, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., classroom instruction with a lunch break; Sunday, Aug. 27, starting at 1 p.m. students will have classroom instruction, review, test and qualifying field activity. Depending on class size, it should finish around 5 p.m.
Students must attend all sessions to be certified. Students should bring a #2 pencil each day. Absolutely no firearms are allowed at this location.
All cancellations must be made before Friday, Aug. 25, by noon. Per state and federal statutes, your Social Security number is required. If you wish to register for this course but do not have a Social Security Number, please call 615-781-6538 for assistance.
