Tims Ford State Park will be hosting its fifth annual Heritage Day Festival and celebrating 75 years of Tennessee State Parks on Saturday, Oct. 13.
This year, the park will be featuring local craft makers, Civil War re-enactors, hayrides, historical demonstrators, wood carvers, music and much more.
Bring the whole family and join the group as 75 years of Tennessee State Parks is celebrated.
Tims Ford will be celebrating the history of the Elk River Valley, sharing information about the families and communities that lived along the Elk River, which is now part of the Tims Ford Reservoir.
The park invites the family and friends of the Elk River communities to share stories and remember the good old times from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Recreation Building.
