Fayetteville High School’s Tigers took a 28-21 loss Friday night at home to Warren County. Fayetteville was playing up, taking on the 6-A Pioneers.
Friday night Fayetteville was first to put points on the board when Lex Marsh connected with Will Vanhooser from 16 yards out. Weston Moon was good on the PAT, and with 9:34 in the first, the Tigers were up 7-0.
The Pioneers knotted it at 7-7 on a 42-yard run with 22 seconds remaining in the period.
In the second quarter, Warren County added two scores while keeping the Tigers off the board, the first on a 31-yard run at the 7:37 mark and the second on a 74-yard run with 40 seconds remaining.
