Three face charges in meth lab bust

meth bustThree individuals reportedly making methamphetamine in the back yard of a Taft home, while a small child played in the yard nearby, were taken into custody and charged last Sunday.

Following a lengthy investigation, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Mike Pitts seized a one-pot meth lab, along with meth components, at 1036 Ardmore Highway.  

Charged were Jennifer Lynn Turner, 23, of 1036 Ardmore Highway, who was held on $48,000 bond; Michael Brandon Bowden, 31, of 18 Clemens Road, Flintville, held on $87,600 bond; and Ronald John Scott, 32, of 12 Johnson School Road, released on $58,500 bond.

All three were charged with possession of a schedule II drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, child endangerment, promotion of the manufacturing of meth, criminal conspiracy and initiating the process of manufacturing meth.
