Swing a Club for Scholarships this fall

“Swing a Club for Scholarships”, the 2nd Annual Golf Tournament sponsored by the Southern Tennessee Ladies’ Society Scholarship Foundation, will be held Saturday, Sept. 13, with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.

One thousand dollars in cash and prizes will be given away, as well as an opportunity to win a car with a Hole in One.

The cost is $90 per person, with sign up in teams of two for 18 holes. This fee includes greens fees, a cart, breakfast and lunch, as well as a gift bag. The entry fee is tax deductible.

Sponsors for the event are Russell Barnett Chevrolet-GMC, Inc. Hall Furniture and Franklin County United Bank.

The tournament will be held at Bear Trace Golf Course at Tim’s Ford State Park.
