The Fayetteville-Lincoln County Arts Center is accepting applications for the 52nd Southern Weekend of Art, set for Friday, June 15, and Saturday, June 16, in Stonebridge Park in Fayetteville.
According to Arts Center President Ron Hackett, this is a juried show.
New applicants must submit photos of their work before their applications will be processed.
“If you have exhibited at one of our previous shows, then you will be accepted for this show,” said Hackett. “We recommend sending current pictures of your work and your display, even if you have exhibited previously. These pictures will appear on our public website when people click on your booth for more information.”
Some booth locations have been widened to 15 feet this year. If you have a tent that must be staked down, please pick one of these wider booth locations. Tent stakes shall not intrude into other booth spaces unless you have paid for those booth spaces.
The Lion’s Club will provide a free pancake breakfast for the vendors on Saturday, June 16, from 6 to 10 a.m. Booths range in price from $55 to $75 per booth. There are discounts for purchasing multiple booths.
“There will be a kids’ zone again this year, and we will also have a free concert on Friday night,” he said.
