So Sew Adorable, a children’s clothing shop offering items and services, has opened its doors in downtown Fayetteville at 112 Main Avenue North.

Owned by Bob and Connie Fogg of Kelso, the shop offers appliqué, monogramming and embroidery services, and carries handcrafted children’s clothing, as well as a variety of brand-name lines that represent the latest trends in children’s clothing and accessories. Additionally, the shop offers alternations and custom nursery bedding, car seat canopies and many other items.

“I and Shelia Shaneyfelt, a good friend of mine, have been sewing together for years,” said Mrs. Fogg, noting that Ms. Shaneyfelt is from Hazel Green, Ala. “As demand for everything we made grew, we basically outgrew our homes and decided to open the business here in Fayetteville.

“We’re both so excited with this opportunity,” she added, noting that the two friends also do custom orders.

Friends and family gathered at the new business on Oct. 26 for grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremonies, hosted by the Fayetteville/Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce.

So Sew Adorable is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
